With effect from March 2015, TUM Asia (”German Institute of Science and Technology – TUM Asia Pte Ltd”) has moved to our new campus premises at the SIT@SP Building. All email addresses and our main telephone line remain the same.

Our office is open every Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

TUM Asia is recognized by the Ministry of Education as an Institute of Higher Learning & is registered with the Council of Private Education (PEI Registration Number: 200105229R / Registration Period: 13.06.2023 – 12.06.2029). TUM Asia is exempted from the requirement of Edutrust certification.

The nearest MRT station serving SIT@SP will be Dover MRT on the East-West Line. The MRT code for Dover MRT is EW22.

To get to the SIT@SP building from Dover MRT, you will have to walk through the Singapore Polytechnic campus. The walk is estimated to be approximately 10 minutes, with a few flights of stairs involved. If you are unable to climb stairs, you are advised to take a taxi directly to our campus location.

WALKING FROM DOVER MRT

  • Take Exit A from Dover MRT.
  • Walk through and enter the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) campus through the linkway.
  • Walk past the SP Auditorium and continue towards the end of the linkway (do not make any right or left turns).
  • Walk straight to the end of the linkway and you will see the entrance to the bridge.
  • Walk through the bridge pathway.
  • Turn left at the end of the bridge pathway and walk on the path along Foodcourt 5.
  • Walk towards the Sports Arena (the white building in the distance). Once you reach the Sports Arena, please walk through the building.
  • After you walk through the Sports Arena, you are to take the flight of stairs (on your left, before the lift) up. Turn right and walk past the open space (with V-shaped pillars) and you will arrive at SIT@SP building.
  • Once you arrive at SIT@SP, please walk to the circular foyer area to access the lift lobby. Take the lift to level 5 to access Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia’s classrooms and office.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT (BUS)

The two bus stops directly serving SIT@SP are along Dover Road. They are Bus Stop No.19061 and Bus Stop No. 19069. Buses that stop at 19061 and 19069 are Bus 33 and Bus 196.

Bus 33 – The nearest MRT stations that Bus 33 can be boarded from are Kent Ridge MRT (CC24), Redhill MRT(EW18) and Outram Park MRT(EW16/NE3/TE17).

Bus 196 – The nearest MRT stations that Bus 196 can be boarded from are Clementi Interchange/MRT(EW23) and Buona Vista MRT(EW21/CC22).

 

BY CAR/TAXI

The most direct access to the building is by the Dover Road (Gate 1) entrance into Singapore Polytechnic.

If you are taking a taxi

  • Do let the driver know that the SIT@SP building is next to the Singtel Tower (Ayer Rajah Telecoms) at Dover Road.
  • Enter the SIT@SP building by Singapore Polytechnic Gate 1, turn left after the electronic gantry and up towards the slope. The SIT@SP building will be on your left after you pass by the tennis courts on the way up the slope.

If you are driving

  • From Ayer Rajah ExpresswayHeading in the direction of Tuas, take Exit 9 (Clementi Road) and turn right into Clementi Road. Turn right into Dover Road and the SIT@SP building will soon be on your left after passing by the Singtel Tower (Ayer Rajah Telecoms). Enter by Gate 1 of the Singapore Polytechnic campus. Turn left after the electronic gantry and drive up the slope. The SIT@SP building will be on your left after you pass by the tennis courts on the way up the slope.
  • From Commonwealth AvenueGo in the direction of Clementi, turn left into Dover Ave (right before Singapore Polytechnic). At the end of Dover Ave, turn right into Dover Road and the SIT@SP Building will soon be on your right. Enter by Gate 1 of the Singapore Polytechnic campus. Turn left after the electronic gantry and drive up the slope. The SIT@SP building will be on your left after you pass by the tennis courts on the way up the slope.

Parking at SIT@SP

Gate 1: Turn left after passing through the electronic gantry and the SIT@SP building will soon appear in front of you as your drive up the slope (tennis courts on your left). There are parking lots on your way towards SIT@SP or after you pass by SIT@SP once you ascend the slope.

Gate 3: Turn right before Staff Centre and drive onto Polytechnic Cresent. There are many parking lots available on Polytechnic Cresent. You may park there and walk over to SIT@SP which is connected to SPorts Arena.
