Our Admissions team will provide an overview of TUM Asia, including a brief introduction to our 7 Master’s programmes, admission requirements, application procedures, and available scholarships.

2:00 - 2:30pm: Rail and Urban Transport/ Logistics Engineering and Management (NEW programmes) Info Session by Dr.-Ing Andreas Rau

In close consultation with industry experts and academic professors, the Master of Science in Rail, Transport and Logistics programme is refreshed to the Master of Science in Rail, and Urban Transport and Master of Science in Logistics and Engineering Management. 

 

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN RAIL AND URBAN TRANSPORT

 

The successful management of rail and transport in cities today requires innovative and sustainable transport strategies and solutions.

To meet the evolving demands, the Master of Science in Rail and Urban Transport programme seeks to deepen students’ engineering skill set with multidimensional insights and know-how to design progressive solutions in managing various transport and railway systems effectively and efficiently.

Featuring two specialised tracks in rail and transport, the programme offers students two interrelated yet distinct personalised roadmaps that equip them with advanced engineering knowledge through the lens of multiple disciplines to address the transport needs for modern societies.

 

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN LOGISTICS ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT

 

The Master of Science in Logistics Engineering and Management integrates the fields of supply chain management, logistics, engineering, and management, providing students with a broad spectrum of knowledge and cross-functional skills. This programme empowers students to plan, organise, and control the international flow of goods in a dynamic world.

The programme offers students an opportunity to take an in-depth study through the lens of transport and logistics systems includes intralogistics. The insights will foster the critical discourse necessary to deepen their understanding of the limitations of the current methodological approaches to address global logistics challenges.

2:45 - 3:00pm: Sustainable Food Info Session by Dr. Alson Chng

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN SUSTAINABLE FOOD

Focusing on food safetyfood science and food technology, the MSc in Sustainable Food is designed with a holistic approach to equip individuals with specialised scientific knowledge and skill sets in food science and food safety to institute systemic change across the major pillars of today’s global food system to achieve food sustainability. The programme aims to nurture future leaders in agri-food industry to establish a new generation of sustainable and safe food by developing strategies at the policy level to integrate the highly fragmented and intricately complex food system. Students will be empowered to be critical thinkers and problem solvers to start conversations, build bridges and establish new ethical standards in instituting effective structural changes to our current food system while paving the way for a new generation of sustainable food to fulfil the global nutritional needs sustainably.

Encompassing multiple scientific and management disciplines, the curriculum will offer opportunities to develop your proficiency in analytical skills and critical thinking while equipping you with scientific concepts and techniques in Food Safety and Food Technology areas.

Chat with Faculty provides students a unique opportunity to engage directly with professors and academic staff. 3:30 - 4:00pm: Aerospace Engineering Info Session by Dr.-Ing Andreas Hermanutz

MASTER OF SCIENCE IN AEROSPACE ENGINEERING

The programme is conducted in Singapore and it serves to provide graduates with an in-depth knowledge in the field of aerospace engineering, focusing in the areas of aeronautical and space design and research.

The 2-year full-time programme Masters in Aerospace Engineering is taught by academia from TUM, who have extensive experience in the latest trends in research and education as well as in global industrial product development and management. The non-technical subjects are taught by experts from the industry, from Asia and Europe alike. Lectures will be held at TUM Asia‘s campus in Singapore.
