Rolling Stock

Overview

With the rapid development of sustainable rail systems globally, there is a rising demand for skilled professionals who can design, optimise and maintain modern, eco-friendly rolling stock. This specialised course is designed to upskill engineers and professionals in the rail and transport industry with in-depth knowledge and practical skills related to rail vehicles.

Learners will strengthen their ability to apply key theories and concepts in the ordering, operation, and maintenance of rolling stock. A strong emphasis is placed on decision-making based on vehicle design considerations tailored to different operational requirements.

Delivered by a German expert with over 27 years of industry experience, this module blends academic rigour with real-world applications. Through case studies and practical exercises, learners will develop a deeper understanding of wheel-rail dynamics, positioning themselves to meet industry challenges with confidence and competence.
