Industrial PhD Programme

The Industrial PhD Programme (IPP) is a joint partnership between the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), TUM Asia, and selected sponsoring companies. The programme is designed to cultivate a highly skilled pool of graduates equipped with critical R&D expertise tailored for industry roles. It achieves this by providing PhD candidates with comprehensive training within a corporate R&D environment.

Supported by EDB, the IPP offers grants to companies, empowering them to nurture talent with specialized R&D skill sets crucial for their respective industries. As an academic partner of the IPP, TUM Asia collaborates with these approved companies to deliver a well-rounded research and training experience.
