From Innovation to Impact: Sustainable, Intelligent, and Inclusive Mobility

mobil.TUM 2026 is an international scientific conference on mobility and transport, scheduled for 16 to 18 November 2026 in Singapore.

Co-organised by TUM Asia and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the conference will focus on the theme “From Innovation to Impact: Sustainable, Intelligent, and Inclusive Mobility” exploring in sustainable, intelligent, and inclusive transport solutions emerge at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, policy, and human behaviour.

This conference offers a unique platform for keynote speakers from diverse research backgrounds to stimulate discussions through presentations, posters, and interactive networking sessions. The Asian context provides an opportunity to draw inspiration from the latest innovations and explore new directions for shaping sustainable future cities.

We welcome contributions from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, regions, and cultures. Proposals are invited for lectern and poster presentations, providing opportunities to discuss research ideas and works in progress.

Key Topics of Interest

Decarbonization strategies, climate-resilient transport systems, life-cycle assessment of vehicles and infrastructure, and integration of mobility with energy and environmental systems.

Artificial intelligence, digital twins, intelligent transport systems, real-time traffic and network management, connected mobility, and data governance for transport applications.

Accessibility, proximity, urban transitions, equity, universal design, behavioural insights, user experience, and participatory approaches to mobility planning and evaluation.

Smart and sustainable rail/road infrastructure design, asset management, predictive maintenance, climate adaptation, digital transformation of legacy infrastructure, and long-term investment strategies.

Mobility-as-a-Service, integration of public transport, active modes and micromobility, first- and last-mile solutions, and regional and inter-urban mobility systems.

Policy design and evaluation, regulation of emerging mobility services, infrastructure governance, pricing and financing mechanisms, and evidence-based decision-making.

Sustainable freight systems, last-mile logistics, digital platforms, passenger-freight interactions and resilient supply chains.

Criteria for acceptance:

  • Relevance for the conference’s general topic and focus on selected topic areas

  • Scientific quality in terms of methodologies applied and data handling

  • Usefulness for practice is supported by successful implementations and/or relevance for scientific progress
