Zhipu Chen

BACKGROUND

Zhipu Chen is a Ph.D. candidate at Technical University of Munich (TUM) since October 2024. His research focuses on combining on-demand services and line operations into one seamless entity for the use case of autonomous modular vehicles in local public transport. He is currently working under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Klaus Bogenberger (TUM), co-supervision of Assoc Prof. Wang Zhiwei (NTU), and mentorship of Dr.-Ing. Florian Dandl, Dr.-Ing. Antonios Tsakarestos and Dr.-Ing. Andreas Rau.

Zhipu Chen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Harbin Institute of Technology, China. He later completed his Master of Science in Transport at Technical University of Munich in TUM Asia Singapore Campus.
