The curriculum integrates aeronautical science with modern control technologies to equip participants with industry-relevant expertise. Modules such as Introduction to Flight Mechanics and Introduction to Aeronautics build a strong understanding of flight dynamics and aircraft performance, while Flight Control Systems and Advanced Flight Control Systems develop advanced competencies in control design and system modelling.

 

Hands-on learning is reinforced through the MATLAB Aero Lab, where participants apply computational tools to simulate and analyse flight control systems. The module on Safety and Certification of Avionics and Flight Control Systems further deepens understanding of regulatory compliance, safety standards, and certification processes in aviation.

 

Upon successful completion of all 6 modules, you will be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Flight Control Systems.

Modules Available

Who Should Attend

For individuals and professionals working in the aerospace sector, as well as those seeking to upskill or transition into this specialised field.

入学要求

A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or General Engineering, is required. However, applicants from other fields may also be considered.

Applicants who do not meet the formal entry requirements may still be considered based on:

  1. At least 5 years of relevant work experience, or
  2. Supporting evidence of competency readiness.

Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview. TUM Asia reserves the right to select and admit applicants.

Certification

Participants will be awarded the Graduate Diploma in Flight Control Systems upon successful completion of all 6 modules.

Note:

  • Transcripts for individual module examinations can be issued to the participants upon request.

Stacking to a Master’s degree:

  • You have the flexibility to upgrade to the Master’s degree programme, with the option to stack your completed modules towards a 航空工程理学硕士.
