TUM Asia’s orientation programme for the 2015 intake concluded in an unforgettable time of games and new friendships.
Every year, TUM Asia’s campus will be filled with a whirlwind of activities to welcome the new students in the Bachelor or Master Programmes. This year’s Orientation Day was held on 31 July 2015 for both sets of students. Students heard from upper management and key faculty members who gave great advice for the students’ journey ahead. This helped to address concerns and aided to ease them into a new environment. “It is alright to not know everything; however it is not alright to struggle on your own. You cannot excel in your studies without seeking help from your professors and classmates,” were some of the wise words of advice given by Dr. Markus Wächter, Managing Director, TUM Asia.
At TUM Asia, it has become a yearly tradition that towards the end of the orientation programme, students play some team building games, planned by the current undergraduate students, and were aimed to encourage students to bond together. Interactive games such as ‘Escape Room’ and ‘Find Your Family’ gave students the chance to mingle around and get acquainted with other students, make new friends, and have an enjoyable time in a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere.
Welcome, AY2015/16!
