28 September 2026 - UnternehmerTUM, the center for innovation and business creation at the Technical University of Munich, is entering into a new partnership with NUSX, the start-up hub of the National University of Singapore (NUS). Through a new outpost at the Munich Urban Colab, NUS start-up teams will gain direct access to the innovation ecosystem surrounding TUM \u2013 in return, the market in Singapore and Asia will open up for Munich-based start-ups.<\/h5>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The partnership is based on three pillars: reciprocal outposts, deepened investment relationships and joint talent programs. A key element is NUSX\u2019s new Munich outpost at the Munich Urban Colab<\/a>, a joint initiative of UnternehmerTUM and the City of Munich \u2013 from there, NUS ventures will gain access to industry partners, technical expertise and the ecosystem surrounding TUM.<\/p>

In return, UnternehmerTUM<\/a> plans to establish its own presence in Singapore through TUM Venture Labs<\/a> to provide Munich-based teams with direct access to the local innovation ecosystem. The partnership is complemented by closer collaboration in the area of venture capital as well as new hands-on programs through which selected NUS students will gain access to UnternehmerTUM initiatives such as Startup Launchpad, Digital Product School and the UnternehmerTUM Incubator.<\/p>

The innovation ecosystem centered around TUM is regarded as one of the most successful deeptech hubs in Europe. Its particular strengths are its strong, diverse network and the specific support.
