What\u2019s your research about, in a sentence?<\/strong><\/p>

Zhipu is developing AI-powered systems to integrate autonomous modular vehicles into public transport networks, blending fixed routes with on-demand flexibility for more seamless, efficient urban travel.<\/p>

What inspired this research?<\/strong><\/p>

It all began with a fascination for the rhythm of city life, how thousands of people move through complex urban systems each day. The idea of using AI and automation to make that flow smarter and more efficient is what drives Zhipu’s work today.<\/p>

Real-world impact<\/strong><\/p>

Many cities struggle with fragmented mobility systems. Zhipu\u2019s research contributes to more coordinated urban transport including reducing detours, minimising transfers, and improving operational efficiency. It\u2019s research that could directly shape the next generation of public transit.<\/p>

What\u2019s next after the PhD?<\/strong><\/p>

Whether in academia or industry, Zhipu wants to stay at the cutting edge of intelligent transport systems, translating research into real solutions that shape the cities of tomorrow.<\/p>
