Afterwards, he pursued his postgraduate degree with the NUS Graduate School of Integrative Sciences and Engineering (NGS) in NUS, focusing on Medicinal Organic Chemistry, under the supervision of A\/P Lam Yulin and A\/P Yip Wai Cheong, George, where he received his Doctoral degree in Chemistry in 2020.  The topic of his Ph.D thesis was \u201cChondroitin Sulfate-C Disaccharides and Tetrasaccharide in Wound Healing and Cancer\u201d, which focused on the optimization, synthesis and characterisation of natural products and testing its effects as a potential drug on wound healing and cancer.
