Modular Certificate Courses – Supported By SkillsFuture

In support of lifelong learning and skills mastery, TUM Asia now offers a range of Modular Certificate Courses that are funded by SkillsFuture Singapore. Upon the successful completion of each modular courses, students will be awarded with a certificate which will count towards the attainment of the corresponding Graduate Diploma or Specialist Diploma should the individual subsequently decide to enrol into the relevant full-qualification courses.

DAAD – A*Star – TUM Asia Symposium: “Industry 4.0: Towards the Future of Manufacturing”

The Technical University of Munich Asia (TUM Asia) has partnered The Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to host a 1.5 Day Research Symposium in Singapore with the theme “INDUSTRIE 4.0: Towards the Future of Manufacturing” from 1st – 2nd November 2016.

Long-term Development of Aviation: Public Lecture by Prof Mirko Hornung

The European Commission has formulated long term targets for aviation in it`s “Flightpath 2050”. These challenging targets aim for drastic reductions in CO2, NOx and noise as well as the demand to enable door to door travels within 4 hours inside Europe for at least 80% of the travels. Enabling innovations and concepts for some of those targets shall be presented within this lecture, such as novel propulsion and energy concepts as well as radical approaches to re-allocate air traffic closer to the city centres again.

 

Mycotoxins in Foods: Public Lecture by Prof Michael Rychlik

Mycotoxins, or more commonly referred to as mold, exist in certain foods. What is the extent of research done in this area of food chemistry? Professor Michael Rychlik from the Technical University of Munich gives us an insight into the world of food microorganisms.
