Industry Scholarships
Limited scholarships from renowned partners and organizations in the industry are available to outstanding students. The selection for scholarship recipients is at the discretion of the relevant industry sponsors. These may be full or partial coverage of the tuition fees and in some cases, a monthly stipend will be given.
You do not need to apply for this scholarship as selected students who have submitted complete application will be automatically referred to the industry sponsor for their selection.
Results of the scholarship will be out by end of May in each academic year and we will inform the successful applicants accordingly.
Note: There may be cases where scholarship decisions takes longer than usual, and may be finalized only in the first semester.
TUM Asia Scholarships
TUM Asia together with Technische Universität München (TUM) offers limited number of scholarships to students with excellent recommendations, academic and industrial backgrounds.
These scholarships will lead to a reduction of the tuition fee from 20%-100%. The number of these scholarships are based on merit and never guaranteed entirely.
TUM Asia & DAAD Scholarships
TUM Asia & DAAD Scholarship project is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This Scholarship is part of the “German Study Programmes Abroad” programme.
Limited number of DAAD Scholarships are to be awarded to students with outstanding academic result and good moral character. Upon conferment of the DAAD Scholarship, the awardees will receive a partial financial support for their tuition fee and monthly living stipend during their study with TUM Asia (TERMS & CONDITIONS APPLY).
Selected awardees will a receive scholarship for a period of one semester (6 months). Depending on their academic performance per semester, the scholarship can be extended. The total maximum duration of the scholarship award is 3 (three) semesters (= 18 months).
The scholarship is open for all TUM Asia students except German students and those who are recipients of Industrial Scholarships with full support on the tuition fee and living stipend.
Eligibility criteria for this Scholarship:
- Good academic results
- Demonstrated leadership skills and good moral character
- Active in extracurricular activities and community services involvement
- The need of financial assistance to support their study
Industrial PhD Programme (IPP)
The Industrial PhD Programme (IPP) is a joint partnership between Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), TUM Asia, and selected sponsoring companies. It aims to develop a pool of graduates with critical R&D skill-sets for roles in the industry, through providing them with training in a corporate R&D environment.

Manufacturing Step Scholarship (MS2)
The Manufacturing Step Scholarship (MS2) is a joint partnership between Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), TUM Asia, and selected sponsoring companies. It aims to build a pipeline of management talents to meet the long-term needs of the manufacturing industry.
